What Causes Stool And Urine Incontinence?

default
Posted on Mon, 24 Apr 2017
Question: I had a BioTee pellet inserted 3 weeks ago along with a prescription of 500 mg of progesterone a day. I am now experiencing severe diarrhea and incontinence both with stool and urine. It feels like I have a prolapse of my my uterine lining or something! The dr suggests that I take 2 progesterone a day for 2 days. It hasn't done anything. I would like to get the pellet removed but is this possible? What can I do ??

Brief Answer:
it can be removed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.

The pellet can be removed but the effect will gradually decrease over a week. The diarrhea and urinary incontinence can be controlled symptomatically with the help of medicines like Imodium.

The incontinence will gradually decrease over a week after the pellet is removed.
