What Causes Severe Mood Swings While On Cilest?
Question: Hello
I have been on Cilest for 10 years since the age of 14 for possible Endometriosis. In the past few years I have noticed changes in my personality, such as severe mood swings, easily teary or upset, and depression/anxiety. I have tried to manage all of the above, and now in the past few months I have lost any sex drive completely, for no reason and is out of character. I spoke with friends and people are suggesting I need to change my pill or go off of it. Could this be my problem? Thank you.

Usually the mood swings and other psychological problems are noted in the first few years of starting your pills. However stop the pills for three months, If you do not start seeing improvement those symptoms, within a month, you need to consult psychiatrist. If these symptoms are bothering you too much, you may need to consult the psychiatrist even earlier.
Loss of sexual drive could be related to your anxiety and depression.
