Detailed Answer:
Hi, Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar here. I welcome you to HCM VIRTUAL CLINIC. I have gone through your question, and I think I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) At 6 months pregnancy, low back pain and tightness of abdomen needs keen attention.

3 ) Low back pain can be due to improper posture or due to laxity of joints . But associated lower abdominal tightness, can be found if baby's weight is exerting pressure on the cervix - mouth of the womb.

4 ) I will suggest that she should take bed rest in head low position. Avoid lifting weights and any kind of bending.

5 ) If possible USG will be of help. Cervical length of less than 3.3 cm , I usually suggest os tightening - cervical stitch.

It will be good to get a gynec check up done to assess length and looseness of the cervix. Before tak any decisions.
Otherwise , head low , bed rest and uterus relaxing medicines will be of help.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
