What Causes Severe Itching In The Ear?

default
Posted on Sat, 24 Jun 2017
Question: I had an ear tube placed in my right ear today. The ENT did nothing for the severe itching I am having in that ear. He placed the tube to get fluid behind my ear drum to drain. I truly believe that I have a fungal infection from the antibiotic ear drops I was using the past two weeks to try and clear up my ear infection.
What can I use to stop this terrible itching and not hurt the tube that was just put in?

Doesn't make sense - don't allow water in ear but use Cetrizine drops? Which is it? Now ear is hot - fever in it
Your answer is totally unacceptable!
