What Can Cause A Severe Itching In The Scrotal Area?
I am diabetic with uncotrolled sugar levels. 586 was determined at my last medical appointment two weeks ago, and I ve been placed on insulin as my kidneys are too damaged for oral meds to continue to work effectively. I have severe itching in the scrotal area, and my penis tears and ulcerates both often and easily. What can I do to correct this, while I work on reducing the sugar levels. I use an assortment of creams and ointments for itch, pain and healing, multiple times a day.

When did this start? Can you send us a picture? This can suggest fungal infection / tinea and if confirmed, will respond to anti-fungal creams like Clotrimazole. Meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry.
