Question: does it matter where I start?


The fatigue is Horrible, I get little sleep also, my Husband has Polycystic Disease and needs a transplant soon.

please forgive me, i type so slow as I realized i did not answer your query. 12 yrs ago he had me take two Lortab 500? it hs been so long i can't recall. And he kept me on the Aleve and a muscle relaxer.

Medications on nerves are recommended and to basically shift focus onto increasing function (physical therapy to increase exercise tolerance and increase mobility).
Nerve medications generally prescribed for fibromyalgia would include the anti-epileptic pregabalin and the antidepressant amitryptiline.

Dear Dr. I have tried Lamotrigine,100mgs 2 per night as well as well as Seraquel. i could not function in the a.m. and I am my husbands caregiver

Also, I AM NOT A DRUG ADDICT! I wil admit I do not sleepatnights worrying

Ok, first, malingering does not seem even slightly reasonable. You wouldn't be on the site asking questions if you knew you were faking. There would be zero point.

But, other medical illnesses are certainly possible for fatigue. Infections including UTI, endocarditis, viral infections like mono, worms, etc. autoimmune disease, but also just a low blood pressure while standing (most common cause of chronic fatigue syndrome), also metabolic diseases like anemia, vitamin deficiencies.

Depression overlaps with fibromyalgia and the treatment would be the same for both.
