Brief Answer:
Probably pimple!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. A cyst will not contain pus. With pus, it is man infection and not a cyst. I will encourage you to initially treat this as an infected pimple and only seek further care if this fails. For now, cleanse daily with an antiseptic such as Iodine, avoid picking on it several time and let's monitor. I Will also appreciate to have an image of this spot for review. This way, I will be certain there is nothing am missing out on.

Brief Answer:
Looks more like an abscess...However, send a better image!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This looks more like an abscess. Is it warm and painful to touch? Are you able to provide a better image? Gentle expression would get the puss out and healing should be spontaneous.

Thanks and keep me updated!

Thanks for the better image!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This seems to have been a pilonidal cyst. I maintain a possible infection at this time. If this takes more than a week to heal, then we will explore further. Pilonidal cyst may be difficult to treat and often require that a surgeon opens it up and allow healing to occur from inside out. Let go with the simple measures first and only push further if they fail.

Best wishes and let me know if you have any more worries at this time that need to be addressed.
