What Causes Profuse Vaginal Bleeding After Taking A Depo-Provera Shot?

Question: i had a depo shot on 2nd august 2017........and have been bleeding/ flooding heavily since....

norethisterone 5mg did not work. to stop the bleeding...tranexamic acid didnt work...
i have been on a combined pill (levest 150/30) for 13 days and the bleeding has still not stopped!

is there anything else i can take to stop the bleeding ( flooding) its made my life really miserable as its going onto 7 weeks of non-stop bleeding

i have a 3-week holiday coming up in 12 days and this will completely ruin my holiday especially with my fiancee. pls help

In my opinion do Complete blood count to know your haemoglobin.
Take inj.aquaviron after consulting your gynecologist which will definitly help.
Any medication you are taking like norethisterone should not be stopped till the bleeding stops because when you stop norethistrone bleeding will occur due to withdrawl of hormones.please be careful.

i am currently on the combined pill and have been on it for 13 days but the bleeding is still there

i have taken 2 pills together for 5 days so far....

do i just need to give it more time?
and why is it taking so long to work? i hav heard it taking few days for the bleeding to stop for other women
