Brief Answer:
A UTI is more likely

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the question. Bladder pressure and discomfort is most likely related to a UTI and these are far more common than STDs such as Chlamydia. Many women with chlamydia have no symptoms at all, or commonly they can have an increased vaginal discharge or irregular spotting. If this helps, great! If you have more questions, please let me know!

I recently had a pap, trans vag ultrasound for irregular periods all normal. Would an std have been spotted?

Brief Answer:
The STD could easily escape detection

Detailed Answer:
The fact that you have a concern about Chlamydia AND you have irregular bleeding might raise the level of concern about chlamydia. I would contact your doctor and see if they can run a test for Chlamydia off of the Pap smear specimen. If they cannot, then go in to get tested for it- it can also be tested from you urine.
