Question: Hi doctor ...for last few days I noticed a white bump on the back of my tonsil .Although there is no pain or fever but the bump is not going away.its been almost 7 days since the white spot persists.A month and a half ago I went to a spa and used a condom while having sex with the spa Therapist .at that point of time I had a paper cut on my finger .now I don’t remember whether I had used the same finger while fingering her vagina.M really confused about the tonsil bump.please help!!
Also there had been some days where I experienced slight night sweats too.

Brief Answer:
Tonsillolith

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the information.
The pictures attached shows chronic tonsillitis with tonsillolith formation.
Take tablet vitamins c once daily and use hexidine gargles.
The tonsillolith can be extracted or left as such. it will fall off spontaneously in few days.
There is nothing alarming to be worried about.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care
Thanks and regards

Good afternoon doctor,
Thanks for your valuable reply ,I had uploaded a fresh picture of my tonsil with the white bump.i had been taking augmentin 625 ds for its treatment.requesting to kindly confirm whether treatment with antibiotics will help .also I had tried to take it out with a cotton swab but it didn’t move.Humble request to kindly check the newly uploaded pic of my throat and kindly advise the course of action needed to be taken.
Also the bump represents like a small thrush .humble request to kindly clarify.

Brief Answer:
Chronic tonsillitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Apology for the delayed reply.
The picture shows tonsillitis. Thrush us usually not localised and your lesion is not thrush.
You should continue with the antibiotics for 5 days course and take tablet vitamins c once daily.
Do hexidine gargles. The tonsillolith will fall off eventually.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Wishing you a speedy recovery

Thanks and regards
