a urologist said might be a spinal problem. She also recently began to
Have high blood pressure 174 over 80

Pain no longer subsides. It is now across the buttocks as well as private area. Severe burning sensation. Abdominal area feels swollen. Visited urologist today and bladder problem was denied. Again urine sample clear, culture shows nothing. Said I would feel a bladder spasm and it would most likely be accompanied by leakage. Pain is intensifying and worse when I sit or lie.

Brief Answer:
Nerve related cause likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The pain and burning in the genital area with no detectable calculus and a sterile urine culture is likely to be due to a nerve related cause. This can happen due to age related disc degeneration causing a nerve root compression at the level of spine. Proper diagnosis needs an MRI scan of the spine under the guidance of a neurologist. This can subside after taking methylcobalamin supplements. You can get these prescribed from her neurologist.
