It's been 3 weeks that I've noticed a tender spot behind my left ear, on the skull that is constantly pulsating.
Yesterday I noticed a small lump at the area. I am currently pregnant and these symptoms started when I was hospitalized for 3 weeks ago because of premature contractions. What can it be?

The spot tenderness is mostly arising from a local infection. Inflammed and tender lymph nodes or a cyst (sebaceous) and other blocked glands/hair follicles are the likely causes. Since you are pregnant, I wouldn't start you on pain medicine unless your gynecologist agrees to it. You should try warm compresses on the affected area. It will alleviate this pain and visit your gynecologist / ENT surgeon for a prescription of safe medicines.
