Arm ,like a muscle weakness" and when you "press other areas on back and button it is very tender". It "Hurts to sleep on either side" You also have iodine allergy and are on Tablets.

1. Pain that "wraps from mid back to right front below right rib cage" is suggestive of Girdle Pain which occurs when a nerve root is involved
2. "Tenderness if pressed below rib in back" "press other areas on back and button it is very tender" "Hurts to sleep on either side" all suggest a local bony or soft tissue problem of back
3. "Weakness in rt. Arm ,like a muscle weakness" suggests a problem in cervical spine

You need to consult a Neurosurgeon and undergo
1. Clinical Examination to Chart out Muscle Power, Reflexes, Sensory System

3. X Ray Cervical and Dorsal Spine
4. High Resolution CT of Cervical and Dorsal Spine with 3D Reconstruction

I did forget to state that the pain also extends down my rt. Hip and buttocks, into my right thigh ,calf and right foot. Once I start walking it seems to become milder. As a caregiver I lift and am right handed. Of course, under stress. I was a runner for many years and just thought my body had taken a beating. Does the same answer apply. Should I start with an Orthopedic? If so do I need a referral to schedule with a neurologist? Thank you so much .
This has gone on for two years ,getting a bit tired of the pain. Thanks again.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir

Welcome Back
Thanks for the additional information

Pain extending to Right Hip and buttocks, into right thigh, calf and right foot also suggest problems in Dorso Lumbo Sacral Spine. So the same answer applies

It is better you consult a Neurosurgeon at the earliest
