Brief Answer:
it might be due to prolonged antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcaremagic.I understand your concern.
I am Dr.Srilatha gynaecologist.I have gone through your query.
In my opinion your symptoms might be due to Antibiotic usage. the intermittent diarrhoea and abdominal pain might be due to antibiotic usage. Prolong antibiotic usage will destroy the helpful bacteria in our intestine along with harmful bacteria. This useful bacteria can be restored by taking probiotic tablets containing lactobacillus which are available. As there is no abnormality seen in CT scan there is nothing to worry.
I suggest you to check with urine culture and sensitivity after completion of antibiotic course to know the persistence of any urinary tract infection.
In case of continued diarrhoea culture of stools for lab detction of organisms like C.difficile might be needed.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
Best regards...Dr.Srilatha

Brief Answer:
antibiotics are known to cause this type of symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hi there, goodday.Iam very happy to assist you.
As I explained in the previous query most of higher antibiotics are known to cause this type of disturbances.
So usually for all patients who are taking higher antibiotics should also take probiotics.
So kindly discuss this issue with your physician he will definitely help you.And its not a permanent problem as when once the normal healthy bacteria is restored symptoms will disappear.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
