default
Posted on Wed, 29 Jun 2016
Question: Hi Doctor,
I have been suffering too much pain from three days below navel covering back also.
We have consulted family doctor over phone..thoughg he had prescribed me UTI medications;- Martifur MR100mg, Metrogyl 400 mg, Buscogast, V-wash cream, and Alkasol syrup..
But for some time only it gives relief from pain.
Feeling itching on vaginal area. Always having white secretion without any smell or irritation but not these days.
Please suggest what should I do in this situation. Will be thankful to you for this

Brief Answer:
Pelvic inflammatory disease suspected.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mrs XXXXXXX welcome to HCM. thanks for writing in to us with your health query. I have gone through your query and understand your concerns completely. Pelvic inflammatory disease can give rise to such type of pain. also since you have whitish vaginal discharge it points more towards it. I will advice you to get an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis region to see for uterus and adnexa. are you also running some sort of fever? if you want to engage in sexual activity then use protection. Regards Dr Manisha Jain OBGY Specialist.
