Brief Answer:
Gabapentin is helpful in treatment of nystagmus.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

I am Dr Dadapeer an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
Gabapentin is helpful in treatment of oscillopsia.
Many studies have shown that Gabapentin helps in nystagmus by reducing the speed of oscillation and hence helps in improvement of vision.

Rarely in severe cases surgery can be done to reduce nystagmus. This is considered only in severe cases.

Breathing difficulties does not appear to be related to nystagmus.

Hope this answers your question.
