I am Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and I will be answering your query. I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns...
Is there any burning micturation? What about urinary frequency? Any flank pain ?
Just mere foul smelling urine without above symptoms should not bother you much. Drink plenty of water so that urine get diluted.
If you are really concerned then get your Urinalysis done. Use mid stream urine for analysis.
Diabetics do develop nephropathy so do look closely at your urinary albumin.
Stay calm and drink plenty of water
