Brief Answer:
If numbness remains constant for hours, likelihood of this to be anginal is low

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam

1. The typical symptoms of coronary artery disease include a heaviness of chest, mainly in the central region, behind breastbone which is invoked by exercise/ exertion/ emotional stress and relieves by rest or sublingual nitrates. The chest discomfort may radiate from lower jaw to umbilicus including both arms. The pain/ discomfort/ heaviness may involve both sides of chest.

2. Features which are not typical of coronary artery disease are pain occurring at rest but not increasing on exertion/ exercise. Pain lasting for hours to days together. Pain increased on touch, pressure, change in posture.

3. If the numbness remains constant for hours and do not change or increase with exertion, likelihood of this to be anginal in nature is low. However any breathlessness on exertion and easy fatiguability can be symptoms of heart disease which may not be coronary artery disease. It is prudent and advisable to consult your physician (at least MD Medicine) for detailed evaluation.

Hope this clarifies your doubt. Please feel free to discuss further.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
