Brief Answer: Cymbalta has bad withdrawal Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. Cymbalta has been unpopular cause of the bad withdrawal symptoms that it throws. You have been on 120 mg of cymbalta and even if you taper gradually, the next 2-3 weeks you will experience some bad withdrawal symptoms. Feeling spaced out and numb are a few such withdrawal symptoms. You may also have anxiety, sleep disturbances and irritalibity. But you need not bother as they are all temporary and very common. Moreover you are taking mirtazapine 30 mg, which is slightly higher dose to start with. Even mirtazapine at 30 mg can lead to this symptom. If this persists even after 2-3 weeks of withdrawing from cymbalta, then it would be wise to step down a dose of mirtazapine to 15 mg and then gradually increasing it to 30 mg ones the body adjusts. In either case, there is nothing to worry. Things will settle down with time. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
