What Causes Missed Periods?
Question: My girl friend and I got into a little foreplay 2 days before her period.
After she gave me an orgasm she (may have) touched herself.
And she had sperm on her hand when she touched herself.
What are the chances of her getting pregnant.
She missed her period which was due on 28th of last month.
is there any way we can be sure if she is pregnant or not.
Is there any medicine to avoid pregnancy at this time. I kno contraceptive pills are supposed to be taken within 72 hrs.
But it is more than 72 hours now.
please advise on the medicine at this point of time.

1) If this incident happened 2 days before her period that means 26th November since her due date is 28th November then there is no chance pregnancy.
2) Yes, there is the way to know weather she is pregnant or not.
Urine pregnancy test can be done at home after 7 days of missed due date.
Or blood Hcg test after 5 days of missed due date.
3) To prevent pregnancy she should take i pill within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse as you told but in your case she did not take it. Hence we should wait for until her due date,if she missed it for 7 days then she should go for pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If it is negative then need not to worry, she can wait for one more week to get periods, if she will not get then need to visit a doctor who gives her progesterone contains medication for 3-5 days and once she stops medication she will get periods within 3-5 days.
If it is positive and if she does not want to continue then she has to visit a gynecologist who can examine her and will plan for termination.
Moreover she will not get pregnancy as per your incident (Like touching semen).

Dr. it's been almost 4 days that this incedent has happened. I understand you mentioned above that there is no chance of my girl friend getting pregnant.
But the slight chance that she might get pregnant has stressed my girl friend out.
