Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Based on the data you provided, especially the fact that there's no abdominal adenopathy or ascites, your findings are suggestible for inflammatory bowel disease or non specific colitis (including entero-colitis and colitis from gluten sensitivity).

Your data aren’t suggestible for any tumor disease, because terminal ileitis (terminal ileum thickening) is more likely caused by infection or inflammation than from tumor growth.

If you were my patient I would have strongly recommended doing colonoscopy with biopsy to find out the right diagnosis. This procedure is the golden standard at your case.

Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

It's a pleasure to know that my advice was of help.

Colonic wall thickening without pericolic inflammation or mesenteric/omental haziness mean that there is no inflammation in soft tissues around the colon. This is a sign that the problem is localized on large bowel and it's not spread outside and it's a sign of mild to moderate bowel inflammation.

Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
