Suggest Treatment For Appendicitis Post A Full Hysterectomy

default
Posted on Tue, 21 Feb 2017
Question: I think I have appendicitis, or it has ruptured one?? I did some ice yesterday and I don't want it to show on my lab work if I go to ER. What do I do? I am a 31 yr. old female and have had a full hysterectomy.

Brief Answer:
It is important to first confirm your condition

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

Acute appendicitis is a condition in which there is severe pain in the right lower abdomen. Similar symptoms can be caused by 12 to 13 conditions like mesentric lymph nodes, diverticular disease, ureteric stones, conditions in the ovary, bowel inflammation and therefore it is important to do a detailed assessment to confirm it.

Ruptures appendicitis is and emergency and requires urgent treatment.

Please seek help at your nearest ER and get your condition confirmed.
