Brief Answer:
How long has this bowel problem been?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Loose consistency stool with cramping is not normal. However your history is too short and less descriptive and I am unable to arrive at a possible condition.

How long have you been dealing with this issue?

If it is a chronic long time condition, then it should be investigated. I would order for routine blood count, ESR, blood sugar check, thyroid hormone check, stool analysis and colonoscopy to rule out inflammatory and endocrine conditions. In my opinion, you need to visit a doctor, a gastroenterologist perhaps and discuss it. He/she will know about the tests I listed above.

It is not appropriate to use antidiarrheal unless the cause is identified. I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids and use probiotics instead.

Hope this helped. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
