Question: I am wondering if I have endometriosis. I have extremely painful, heavy periods. I have constant lower abdomen/pelvic pain, along with lower back and leg pain. I have now been spotting in between cycles, and sometimes notice traces of blood at bowel movements.

Brief Answer:
Chances of endometriosis are there, consult gynecologist for testing.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to HCM,

I can understand your worry,

Endometriosis is a condition where endometrium (Inner layer of womb) starts growing outside womb.during each menses endometrium sheds off internally along with pain.

I have gone through your history thoroughly, symptoms like pain during menses, heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, bleeding during bowel movements are also experienced in endometriosis.

Though you have symptoms of endometriosis, it can not be confirmed without physical examination and some investigations like ultrasound, laproscopy (give best confirmation).

So I advise you to consult gynecologist for thorough examination and testing.

Hope my answer helps you.

Feel free to ask any query.

Thanks.
