Brief Answer:
Life style changes are recommended.

Detailed Answer:
Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern for the results of the lab tests which show high levels of liver enzymes (SGOT & SGPT).

High levels of these enzymes can be caused by a number of conditions like disease of the liver, gall bladder, alcoholism, drugs intake, or fatty liver.

I would advise you the following measures which are useful in reducing the high levels of the liver enzymes:

1. Avoid taking fatty meals, hot and spicy or junk foods
2. Eat home cooked foods, increase the intake of fruits and vegetables
3. Do regular exercise and reduce your body weight
4. Take vitamin E containing tablets which are very useful in such condition.
5. Avoid smoking.

Hope the suggestions given above would be of great help in reducing the enzymes level.

Best regards.

Brief Answer:
The liver function tests should be normal to get a job visa.

Detailed Answer:
Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.

Since you did not mention about the name of the country you wish to travel and the nature of the visa to travel, however for most of the Gulf countries, as far as the diseases of the liver are concerned, the visas are granted to the eligible candidates if the liver function tests like SGPT, SGOT, Serum bilirubin should be within the normal range and Surface antigen (HBsAg for hepatitis B infection) and Anti-CV (for hepatitis C infection) should be NEGATIVE.

Fruits like apples, oranges, lime which are rich in antioxidants and green leafy vegetables are beneficial in maintaining normal functioning of the liver.

Hope this information helps you.

Wishing you best of your health.
