What Causes Dry Eyes?

Question: I have been diagnosed with dry eyes. I use restasiss and Lotemax but lately my eyes run all day long. It has been going on for a month. I am traveling and can't get to my eye doctor. By the way, I never had a feeling that I had dry eyes when I was diagnosed

My eyes are running tears all day long. Why would I put more drops in them? I need to stop them from tearing all day.

That's the irony of situation.Due to dryness there is irritation.which leads to watering.Lubricating drops lead to reduction of tears,by reducing this irritation.Thats the reason local drops will help.
