What Causes Diarrhea, Sudden Body Tremors And Excessive Sweating During Bowel Movement?
Question: Hi DR! This morning around 03:35am I became so shivery whilst opening my bowels on the toilet that I had to lie on the floor shivering and sweating and was forced to open my bowels on the floor which was in liquid form but a texture of a cows poo.
I felt at the same time I was having a panick attack. I really felt that I was going to die and my breathing became quicker and I was sweating all over my body particuarly my face which was dripping.
I am epileptic and haven't had any seizures for over 3yrs and this definatley was not a seizure. I was fully aware of my surroundings. What is the cause of this? I had to call in sick today and I was still going to go into work but I felt exhausted.

Welcome to the HCM.
Dear Sometime sitting in squatting position or defecation can cause a vasovagal reflex ,which can happen normally sometime and can cause these symptoms.
And exhaustion can happen in day time because of disturbed sleep last night.
I would like to know,that has it been the first episode of this situation ?If you have continued increased sweating and increased heart rate and have anxiety all day long I would suggest get an ECG,EEG, blood sugar level and thyroid profile done and follow accordingly.
I would also like to know,if you are taking any medicines at present.Since some medicines can also cause these type of symptoms as side effects.
