What Causes Diarrhea And Nausea After Having Unprotected Sex?

Question: Hi,
I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, and that same night I started to feel uncomfortable and crampy in my stomach. The next day I had diarhooea and still feel uncomfortable in my stomach and slightly nauseous but not to the the extent that I need to vomit. My period was about a week ago. Could this be a sign of an STD or early pregnancy by any chance?

Hello dear, I understand your health concerns.
There is no risk of pregnancy as your period was just a week ago so no chance of ovulation only.
But still wait for periods and in case you get them on time then nothing to worry.
STDs cannot cause such symptoms at all.
This all is most probably some food poisoning only and will be gone in a while.
Keep water intake good and avoid outside food.

Could hitting the cervix during sex possibly cause any of these symptoms also?

cannot cause persistent symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hitting the cervix can cause only transient symptoms but the symptoms will not persist for a day at all.
Its just a coincidental food poisoning or anxiety due to unprotected intercourse.
Nothing to worry.
Just wait for your periods.
