Question: I have lost 60lbs in the last year and Now im scary skinny. It started when I moved into transitional living. The place was pretty dirty. Anyways I had Diarrhea the whole time I lived there. I couldn;t keep anything in. Then that started to interfere with my job so I quit eating. I would eat just not a lot due to the pain. Well now that I way 110 and i'm 5"9"1/2 I look pretty sick. Same thing is still going on. my stomach is rumbling all the time. Maybe its bacteria? I just want this to stop!

Brief Answer:
Have you moved out of this transitional facility?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Have you moved out of this transitional facility? If you cannot eat well because of any reasons, there is just no way that you can adequately maintain or gain weight. The rumbling stomach are clear signs that the intestines are empty and need food. Diarrhea and reduced food intake are certainly bad for your weight.

Diarrhea that last several months is not caused by an infection. It might be something in your diet that is responsible for this. Keep a food diary and try to match what food types are more likely to cause diarrhea than others and eliminate them from diets.

If this fails, I will suggest you meet a gastroenetrologist for examination to establish the cause of your diarrhea: Diet, poor absorption, etc.

Question: How many times do you have diarrhea in a day?

I hope this guides. I wish you well. Hope to hear from you for more insights and guidance from me.
