What Causes Delayed Periods After Discontinuing Yasmin?
Question: I was on oral contraceptive for 4 years, ( Yasmin) stopped from last 6 months. Did not have periods for 4 months. This month I got my period.Today is the 5th day . Heavy bleeding with clots.

Thanks Doctor. I actually do not want hormonal therapy again because I was on it almost 4 years. I was prescribed pause MF about 6 months in case I had heavy bleeding anytime. But was reluctant to take it. Yes I am taking iron supplements. As you suggested will wait for one more day and then consult my gynecologist. Hope the bleeding stops.Thanks again.
