Brief Answer:
Ectopic pregnancy should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

The most common cause of delayed periods in reproductive age group is pregnancy. The repeated episode of bleeding which you had in last month could be implantation bleeding.

Since you are having abdominal pain, which is increasing in intensity, the possibilities are ectopic pregnancy and threatened abortion.

Ectopic pregnancy is implantation of the conceptus outside uterus, most commonly in fallopian tubes. It is an emergency condition and treatment should be initiated before the complications occur.

Threatened abortion should also be treated as inpatient.

I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done and if positive, then do urgently consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated (ultrasound) and treated accordingly. The abortion can be done by medical or surgical method, medical method being safer. But you should take it after confirmation of the location of the pregnancy, and under the supervision and advice of a registered medical practitioner.

If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then the delayed periods could be because of hormonal imbalance, which should be investigated and the cause of pain abdomen should be found by proper examination and investigations by a doctor.

Thank you for your valuable answer.
Can i go for a natural abortion by consuming food rich in vitamin c? For example papayas and pineapples Or by some vitamin c pills. Is it successful or does it harm the baby if not a success?

Brief Answer:
Other methods of abortion not recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX thanks for responding. I would not suggest you to go for abortion using any other method than recommended in medical literature. The efficacy and safety of these methods, and the effect on the fetus if these methods fail, are not known and no scientific research has been done on them.
I would again suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly. He/she will give the best advice which will be safest for you.
