What Causes Continued Bleeding Despite Taking Dicynone-500 And Ponstan?

Question: This is the second time I am trying to get help from you.dr prescribed tranexamic acid 500 to stop the bleeding,I am also taking dicynone500 and ponstan forte ,but still I have bleeding not heavy, spotting .I am 36

I got my blood test result and there is no thyroide problem ,dr did internal cheking and told me there is no fibroide but asked me to go for ultrasound if bleeding continuous. I am worried why dr prescribed 3 tablets to stop bleeding and also advised to take injection ,but preferd to take injection.is this 3tablets have side effect.please go through my previous chat with dr XXXXXXX so that you can get a details about my case

Thanks for writing again.
I have gone through your previous discussion with Dr. XXXXXXX Ponstan forte is to combat the pain during periods and Dicynone is given in addition to tranexaemic acid to control the bleeding. Now that the heavy bleeding has been controlled these medicines are not required.
The side effects of these medicines include a rise in blood pressure, headache, nausea, dizziness, pain epigastrium, etc. The mild spotting that you are having is likely to be due to a dysfunctional uterine bleeding or a hormonal imbalance. Taking hormonal tablets like oral pills will help in stopping the spotting.
