As below:

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. Get a Hemogram, an Absolute Eosinophil Count (AEC) and ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) blood tests done. Have you recently had a viral infection?

2. The most common causes for persistent cough and laryngitis are allergy, acid reflux and a post nasal drip of mucus. Request your physician to start treatment accordingly.

3. If you have a dry cough, check if you are taking an expectorant cough syrup. For a dry cough try a cough suppressant syrup such as Syp. Ascoril-D, Syp. Zedex or Syp. Reswas.

4. Use household remedies or OTC medication such as Madhu-vaani (Dabur) to soothe your throat.

5. Kindly let me know the results of your medication and further investigations. This will help in suggesting further treatment.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
