Brief Answer:
Suspecting a gastric cause and not a cardiac one

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. As the cardiac XXXXXXX has returned a normal result, we can confidently rule out a cardiac cause.

To be honest with you sir, with the description provided by you I would have first suspected a gastric condition, and not a cardiac one. I have come across such a presentation in many of my patients in the past sir. The main issue here is the long shower or shower with very hot water. When the heat from the hot water reaches the body, it causes the gases in your stomach to expand and increase in volume applying pressure on the walls of the stomach. This causes the pain as the stomach starts feeling the pressure of the gas inside.

The simple solution I have found is to avoid the hot water showers or really long showers, but some people find this therapeutic and so I also recommend being well hydrated and using a gas tablet when this pain occurs.

This theory stands as long as there are no associated conditions or abnormalities found in your abdominal region (to be ruled out with the help of an ultrasound investigation). I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
