Question: I have a bone on the top of my foot between my toes and ankle which is very hard. It is a round hard lump. What has caused this. I do have it on both feet. I have had this for a long time. I see other people and they have a smooth area on the top of their foot.

Brief Answer:
Get x-ray done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

If bone is found in location, that you have mentioned, it should not be ignored especially if become painful. Sometimes it has to be removed. You need to get xray of ankle with foot in AP and Lateral view to know the exact location of bone. Send me the report of x-ray I will advise you further management apart from surgery if possible e.g steroid injection near the bone if possible.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
