Brief Answer:
Blood in urine is abnormal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello xxxxxx and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me assure you, that blood in urine is not normal.
There must be some cause for it, which has to be found out.
You need an examination by an Urologist, and then have certain tests done.
The tests needed are :
1. urine routine and culture,
2. blood creatinine,sugar,PSA, and
3. Ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis
4. TRUS (trans rectal ultrasound scan).
According to the reports, the Urologist will be able to advise proper treatment.
If you've any doubts, kindly send the reports here, for an expert opinion.
Drink 8-10 glasses of fluids daily.
Wish you good health.
