What Causes Blood In Throat Mucus?

Question: Good afternoon Sir,
bleeding mucus coming out from the throat, most time darker color, about 1mm circle, specially in early hours after waked up.During day on and off with milder quantity. It has been about a month. Please explain symptoms.

Sure I want to know how frequently the blood in mucus comes, any history of smoking or alcoholism..

There are many reasons for blood in mucus like bleeding can be from an infected tonsils or gums or teeth..or a bleeding disorder..it can be due to some malignant lesion in the throat too..

The only way to rule out what is the cause of bleeding is the examination, so I will advise you to visit an ENT specialist and get an endoscopic examination done.. It should be done on an urgent basis.
