Tot With Soft Swollen Bump On Front Head, Swelling Reduced With Ice Pack. What Is The Cause?
Hello, my 3 and half years old daughter has unexplained soft swelling with small bump on her center-right of front head. When my wife put icepack on it yesterday, it went away. But today, although the general swelling was down, but the bump is still clearly obvious. Wow and why this happened? What should we do now? Thanks

JUST WAIT AND WATCH ABOUT PROGRESSION OF SWELLING IF IT DID NOT INCREASE IN SIZE IT WILL DISAPPEARS .
BUT IF IS INCREASIG PREGRESSIVELY IT NEED TO WORK UP OF ( HB, TLC, DLC , ASPIRATION OF FLUID AND NATURE OF FLUID . IF BLOODY ALSO CHECK FOR BLEEDING DISORDER)

There must be injury due to fall,and hematoma is formed due to rupture of small blood vessels.and will subside in few days.
Continue applying ice pack.give acetaminophen for pain relief.
Monitor her activity,any vomiting,any abnormal activity and in case you find any get her evaluated by pediatrician.
