What Causes Abdominal Discomfort Along With Pain In The Arms?
Question: I am experiencing pain in both arms and stomach discomfort. I have have had a chest exray, blood tests for heart attack and kegs all its negative results? My cardiologist has suggested a gastro disorder. Is this possible?

As cardiac cause has been ruled out through investigations in your case most likely your cause appears to be gastric in nature.
It could be gastritis dyspepsia or reflux problem.Formation of excessive acid and its regurgitation back into esophagus causes inflammation in mucosa layer of esophagus which causes severe chest pain that may radiate to your arms.
Secondly in some patients due to dyspepsia there is formation of excessive gases these gases compresses the intestines hence pressure on nerves passing through them increases causing pain.
Basically for cardiac clearance Troponin I and 2d echo cardiogram should be done(chest x ray has no significance).
If both are normal.
Inj nexium 80 mg should be given twice daily with Domperidon 30 mg slow release once a day.Pain due to gastric issue would respond to it immediately.
