Brief Answer:
elevate foot, icing, motrin, tylenol, avoid weight bearing, visit ER

Detailed Answer:
Hi
You should immediately do icing and take motrin tablets and tylenol. Support the ankle with some protective wear like an anklet, keep your foot elevated on a stool or chair and do toes movement exercises. In meantime arrange for a visit to emergency room ( ER) in a hospital for urgent xrays,MRI of ankle and foot and consultatation with an orthopedic surgeon.Do not do any walking or weight bearing, take help of a crutch or walking stick to avoid putting down the injured leg on ground till you have a complete evaluation in ER done and get further advise.
It could be serious fracture, dislocation or tear of soft tissues, ligments with hematoma formation which can be checked by repeated icing for 10 minutes every hour
If swelling severe with hematoma doctors may think of aspirating excess blood or serum collection under the skin
Hope you are able to follow my guidelines,
Best wishes, Regards

Brief Answer:
Fresh x ray for diagnosing lump, from bone or a resolving hematoma

Detailed Answer:
thanks for giving clearer picture.
An examination by an ortho surgeon is a must. X ray or MRI of part would give a clue for the "lump' if from bone
Treatment can be directed accordingly
So you may consult an orthopedic doctor.
generally after impact injury, a hematoma forms and resolves slowly, if not drained initially
Also what symptoms are there due to lump matters. If on examination and x ray it is found to be a resolving hematoma, nothing to worry, unless some bone swelling is detected, which , after diagnosis can be treated.
regards
