Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I am very happy to know that you found my answer helpful to you.
In a normal healthy couple, chances of conception in each menstrual cycle is only20-25%, so infertility is said to occur only a couple fails to conceive after one year of successful unprotected intercourse. Therefore I suggest you not to worry at all.
To maximize the chances of conception, you both should follow fertile period, which ranges from Day 8 to day 22 of the cycle, and should have unprotected intercourse every alternate day in this period.
However, if you are very apprehensive, then you both can get your investigations for infertility done, which include:
1. Semen analysis of your husband after3 days of abstinence.
2.Your thyroid hormone levels, prolactin levels
3. ESR
4. Mantoux test
5. Chest X Ray PA view
6. Follicular monitoring by ultrasound
If all these investigations are normal, then you should get your hysterosalpingography ( HSG) to confirm the tubal patency.
Further management has to be done accordingly.
These tests are not very hard to be done, except HSG which is a bit painful.
In my opinion, you both should be stressfree as stress also leads to decrease in fertility.
Moreover, you should start taking folic acid tablet daily as taking it in preconceptional period decreases the risk of congenital anomalies in the fetus.
