Brief Answer:
Fatigue,GI problems..as following...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

1. I am happy to know that you have decided to quit Methadone and working hard for this. Unfortunately, coming off methadone requires a strong willing and determination as you might experience various unpleasant symptoms.

2. You are already feeling tired and with no energy, and this is one of the side effects of stopping Methadone. This is a temporary condition that will subside in few weeks.

3. Suboxone is a good alternative when trying to stop Methadone. It is a combination of a narcotic drug (buprenorphine) and the special narcotic drug which reverses the effects of buprenorphine (naloxone).

GI problems are mostly reported when using this drug, especially when it comes to constipation. I advise to consume more foods high in fiber and increase water intake to ease bowel movements.

Hope it helped! If anything, do let me know!
Good luck!

Actually What I wanted to know is what Kind of side effects will I have while taking Suboxone,... after the Methadone is clear of my system,... such as headaches, anxiety, sleeplessness, etc. Because currently, since I've been on Suboxone, those are my primary side effects. And, even after three weeks, they are so intense, I'm considering going back to Methadone. I do not feel good at all,... all day and all night.

Brief Answer:
Following common side effects of Suboxone...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

1. The common side effects of Suboxone include:

- headaches
- anxiety
- sleepiness
- GI problems like constipation, nausea, etc.

2. These symptoms are related to both quitting Methadone and using Suboxone.

3. It is not a good idea to go back to Methadone as your body won't respond as well now as you were younger.

4. You need to be in close contact with an Addiction Specialist to evaluate your health problems step by step closely. You might experience other symptoms that should be closely evaluated and might need specific solution.

5. Psycho-therapy is also advised because your mental status plays a crucial role in overcoming such problems.

Hope it helped!
