Brief Answer:
Side effects of Nebistar and Vertin-8 given below

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the dizziness and recent onset of pain in the heart.

1. Vertin contains Betahistine a drug used for Vertigo (dizziness).
It can sometimes cause milder side effects like headache, insomnia, nausea, gastritis, etc.

2. Nebistar SA which contains two drugs (Nebivolol+Amlodipine) is mainly used in the treatment of high BP (hypertension).
This medication can cause slow heart rate, chest pain, fatigue, sleep disturbances, difficulty in breathing (smokers and in patients with airway diseases), erectile dysfunction, increase in blood cholesterol, etc.

For the treatment for high BP, Nebistar SA has to be taken every day, since you have been taking it twice weekly it could have resulted in uncontrolled BP and thus dizziness.

The fact that your job requires you to travel for long distances frequently, if you would have been my patient I would have preferred an alternate medication like Losartan (which is less likely to cause dizziness, fatigue, sleep disturbances, erectile dysfunction), etc.

In view of the above explanation, I would advise you to consult your treating physician for the use of alternate effective and safer medication for the treatment of high BP and to evaluate the chest pain possibly an ECG is required to rule out heart problems.

Hope the suggestions given above could be useful to you.

Best regards.
