What Are The Medicines Preferred During Pregnancy?

Question: Hello, My wife is 19 weeks pregnant, please let me know what are the medicines/tonics preffered during pregnancy in these period.

Brief Answer: Iron Detailed Answer: Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic. As of now she needs balanced diet. Along with that she can start on iron tablets one daily. Only after 2 months she can start calcium supplements. Hence she does not need any other medicine that an iron tablets. Please get anomaly scan done next week by a good scan centre. Thanks for replying. Do we need to do Quadruple screen/Triple screen test. We have done all the first trimester test. 1.Haemogram 2.ABO& RH grouping 3.Glucose -fasting 4.HIV 1& II elisa 5.HBSAG- Elisa 6.Rubella IGG & IG M 7.Thyroid function test 8.HB-electrophoresis 9.Urine routine and microscopy 10.Ultra sound scan level 1 All the reports are normal.
