Question: My son hit himself the other day when he was trying to stand but he hit the edge of his eye and now I noticed a hickey like mark on the back of his neck. Should I be worried?

Most worried symptoms after head injury are Loss of consciousness, Bleeding per Ear,Nose,Throat; Vomiting.
If these symptoms are not present, there is no need to worry.
A small hickey like mark on the neck is not of much concern.
Collection of blood (Haematoma) around the eye will also subside spontaneously.
I prescribe Anti inflammatory tablet along with Trypsin and Chymotrypsin to my patients with similar complaints.
Nothing to worry. It will come down.
