Question: What is the withdrawal process for getting off Gabapentin, Lidoderm patches, and oxycodone?

I also need to get off oxycodone and Lidoderm patches, if at all possible.

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

For Lidoderm patches there are no rules, it causes no withdrawal symptoms.

For the other two, the main rule is the same, to do that in a gradual manner, not abruptly. I would start with oxycodone. The dosage reduction depends on how much you are taking, I would say to reduce the dosage by about 20% every two weeks.

The same principle applies to Gabapentin, dosage is reduced gradually by reducing it by about 20% every two weeks.

Of course if you have a chronic issue causing pain there is the question of the pain returning. Neither Gabapentin nor oxycodone cure the cause, they simply alleviate the pain, so perhaps it will be necessary at the end to maintain one of the two.
