Question: I HAVE A CHILD THAT, AT 15 MONTHS, HAS SHOWN AGGRESSION. SHE HAS BITTEN ME AND SCRATCHED AT MY FACE AND NECK WHEN SHE DOESN'T GET HER WAY. SHE ALSO PULLS AT OUR HAIR.
SHE IS NOT ABUSED IN ANY WAY AND I JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS IS COMING FROM.

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

Some children are constitutionally more aggressive. This may be the case. However, she also may have a developmental disorder such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or a more serious developmental disorder. She needs to be evaluated by both a pediatrician and a child psychiatrist to assess in-person for any developmental or psychiatric disorder that might benefit from treatment.
