Brief Answer:
Previous miscarriage will not affect chances of conceiving or cuture pregna

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

First trimester or early miscarriages are common and will not cause any problem with conceiving naturally or future pregnancy.
History of one miscarriage will not put you at increased risk for future miscarriages.

Women in 40s have 15-20 percent chance of conceiving every month and 76% chance after trying for a year. Previous miscarriage will not reduce your chance of conceiving.

If you have regular menstrual cycles there will be no delay in conceiving.

You can try to conceive naturally. Eat healthy diet and maintain a healthy weight. Take folic acid 400 micrograms daily.

If you miss a period, take home pregnancy test and if positive start prenatal care with your gynecologist early. Starting progesterone supplementation during future pregnancies can help maintain a healthy pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

The reason that baby didn't develop and heart beat was not found is because of miscarriage. The medical term for such miscarriage without any bleeding/abdominal pain is called missed abortion.
The most common cause for first trimester abortion/miscarriage is fetal genetic abnormality.
Other causes which are less common include progesterone deficiency and thyroid deficiency in mom, infection, uterine anomalies, diabetes .

I understand that what you had gone through is stressful and emotionally challenging. Please don't stress and try to relax. Most women have successful full term pregnancies after a miscarriage.
