Suggest Treatment For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Cymbalta

default
Posted on Thu, 7 Jan 2016
Question: How can I alleviate my withdrawal from Cymbalta? I was taking two 60-mg. capsules per day for six years but have taken none for three months. Why don't doctors know about the horrors with which Cymbalta afflicts those who stop taking it? Please.

Brief Answer:
few over the counter with anti anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to HCM.

Thanks for writing to us.

I do not understand why your doctor has stopped 120 mg Cymbalta suddenly. 120 mg Cymbalta should be tapered of slowly and stop to prevent drug discontinuation symptoms.

When someone quit cold turkey withdrawal symptoms are likely to happen.

However 3 months is long duration and during this time symptoms should be reduced or subsided.

If you have still nausea and headache, you can take Tylenol, Rantac and Domperidone as and when required. Still symptoms persist you should ask your doctor to prescribe anti-anxiety medicine for short duration.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
