Question: I am undergoing infertility treatment. On Oct 2013 I underwent a Biopsy & was detected with tubular endometrial. Therefore was on modified AKT for 8 months. But still my lining has not improved. It is generally 4 to 5 mm. Therefore have been suggested to go for an Hysteroscopic metroplasty. Could you please suggest if this is the right treatment & could you also suggest if possible a good surgeon in XXXXXXX for this procedure.

Brief Answer:
Metroplasty

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply

1. The common problem in patients with tuberculosis is thin endometrium even after treatment.

2. Unfortunately there is little improvement over any of therapies.

3. But hysteroscopic Metroplasty is not indicated in your situation. Did the doctor elaborate in procedure of Metroplasty that how they are doing and what they achieve.

4. I suggest you take second opinion. Please visit Dr. XXXXXXX Jagtap in XXXXXXX IVI fertility hospital at XXXXXXX You can quote my reference as Dr. Mahesh Koregol IVF Specialist from XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
